Four Bitchin’ Babes – Muzak Lyrics

How does a musician find a measure of success? It it having your own tour bus with your stage name on the side
Singing at the Grand Old Opry, a gold record bonafide
Is it singing at the White House
Taking home a Grammy
Having your song on the jukebox
Taking home a Whammy? By what kind of standard is one judged ok to best? I wanna be on muzak
Be on the speakers in Radio Shack
Or for an ego inflator while I’m standing in the elevator
Nothing could make me wanna buy it all like
Hearing my song in the shopping mall
Oh I wanna be a real cracker jack
I wanna hear my song on muzak
Give me a little slice of heaven standing by the broccoli
Hearing my tune in Safeway feels like stir-fry to me
Sitting on an airplane I put on the ‘phones
I’m an entry on sky-muzak
Now I know I’m home
You say a musicians ambition truly must be small
To want to hear their song while in a bathroom stall
I wanna be on muzak
Be on the speakers in Radio Shack
Or for an ego inflator while I’m standing in the elevator
Nothing could make me wanna buy it all like
Hearing my song in the shopping mall
Oh I wanna be a real cracker jack
I wanna hear my song on muzak
Now I don’t want my own video
I don’t want to be on t.v
What I want to be is on muzak, that’s, muzak to me
I wanna be on muzak
While I’m dining on a Big-Mac
I’d like to hear my, overtones
While I’m hold on the telephone
Nothing can make my smile so fare as
Hearing my song in the dentist chair
Oh I wanna be a real cracker jack
I wanna hear my song on
Hum along on
Muzak
Bum bum bum bum
Bum bum bummmmm
(laugh)

Click to share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window) Lil Baby seems to have recognized the phenomenal rapper that Jay-Z is after taking in his “triple B” bar from DJ Khaled‘s new song “Sorry Not Sorry.”
The long-awaited and highly anticipated album Khaled Khaled dropped earlier this week and is already causing ripples in the industry with the offerings on it. The track that sent Lil Baby into a tizzy, “Sorry Not Sorry,” features a slower beat that samples Jay-Z’s classic hit “Song Cry.” Jay-Z also drops some bars on the reimagined beat along with Nas, James Fauntleroy, and Harmonies by the Hive. Have you heard “Sorry Not Sorry” yet? Fans were particularly impressed by Jay-Z’s remarkable flow on the “triple B” bar at the start of his first verse. This is DJ Khaled’s 12th studio album and features 14 tracks with some of the biggest names in the game right now like Drake, Cardi B, Roddy Ricch, Rick Ross, Lil Durk, 21 Savage, Justin Timberlake, and Queen Bey, Beyoncé. Lil Baby was also understandably blown away by the performance. Lil Baby is clearly impressed by Jay-Z’s wordplay on DJ Khaled’s new song “Sorry Not Sorry” featuring Nas and James Fauntleroy. When the song first began gaining attention, it was for a different reason. Many fans believed that Harmonies by the Hive was actually Beyoncé, but soon the focus turned to the flawless bars that the two veterans Nas and Jay-Z dropped. As he stands by Lil Durk, he reacts in the most excited manner as he takes in the verse and Beyonce’s short cameo. It’s always fantastic when young players in the game recognize the talent of the veterans that paved the way for them. In a viral video circulating on social media, the Atlanta rapper can be seen losing his mind over Jay-Z’s wordplay.

Zero 7 – Distractions Lyrics

Fancy a big house
Some kids and a horse
I can not quite, but nearly
Guarantee, a divorce
I think that I love you
I think that I do
So go on mister, make Miss me Mrs you. Fancy a fast car
A bag full of loot
I can nearly guarantee
You’ll end up with the boot
I love you, I love you, I love you , I do
I only make jokes to distract myself
From the truth, from the truth. I love you, I love you, I love you , I do
I only make jokes to distract myself
From the truth, from the truth. I love you, I love you, I love you, I do
I only make jokes to distract myself
From the truth, from the truth.

DJ Khaled Drops Reggae Anthem “Where You Come From” Ft. Bounty Killer, Buju Banton, Capleton & Barrington Levy

The BBC trio [Bounty, Buju, Capleton] are also known for hitting back at the system, something Buju Banton continues to do to this day through his public lashings of the Jamaican government. The Poor People Governor Bounty Killer is a bit more abrasive than the rest in how he wants to take on the “revolution,” however, the desired outcome is pretty similar. Instead of dedicated verse placements, DJ Khaled ensures his production runs like a fine-tuned wrestle mania showdown, as each entertainer is tagged into the ring to show just what they can do. The music video for “Sorry Not Sorry” by JAY-Z and James Fauntleroy, with harmonies from The Hive, is the only visual to be released so far. Buju Banton and Barrington Levy drop a few lines for the intro/chorus before Capleton handles the first verse. Fans are already calling for a music video for this joint. Levy’s original track was all about fighting against the oppressive forces which hit out against the medicinal herb marijuana. “No pass your place and no cross the lin / And no ask me where me from, ’cause me no hard fi find / And the nation where stand up at the cost fi mine / Right now me a go roll up another spliff, it just pass me mind / Lowe the music, lowe the weed, a poverty cause the crime,” the fireman chants. DJ Khaled’s new album Khaled Khaled is finally here, and the rich, authentic sound of Jamaica is flowing abundantly through the voices of Bounty Killer, Buju Banton, Capleton, and a clever Barrington Levy sample for the track “Where You Come From.”
Levy’s 1985 release “Under Mi Sensi” provides the base for the other Jamaican stalwarts to bless the track with their words of upliftment and power. However, it’s unclear if this release will be blessed with one. Khaled’s album also features other super teams such as Lil Baby and Lil Durk, Nas, Bryson Tiller, Lil Baby, Roddy Ricch, H.E.R., Migos, Justin Bieber, 21 Savage, Post Malone, Megan Thee Stallion, Lil Baby, DaBaby; Bryson Tiller, H.E.R., Meek Mill, and Rick Ross, A Boogie Wit da Hoodie, Big Sean, and Puff Daddy. DJ Khaled journey to Jamaica a few weeks ago with his family to capture visuals for what is now his 12th studio album.

Spice Recruits Dancehall Legends Sean Paul & Shaggy For “Go Down Deh” Collab

Shaggy and Sean Paul have collaborated on songs in the past, such as “Hey Sexy Lady” back in 2003 and “Rise Again” in 2010. Spice, Sean Paul, and Shaggy’s voices truly are a perfect trifecta for this collaboration. So far, the reception has been good, and the music video could look lit. But we are sure dancehall fans all over are more than happy that it did. Was this collaboration with Spice destined to happen? From the video snippet, we can observe vibrant colors from the neon strobe lights in a dark room, likely indicating a club setting for the video shoot. Sean Paul adds some amount of vibrancy with his verse and makes it a bit more upbeat, and Spice then follows suit with her second verse. Spice has also worked with Shaggy on Kemar Highcon and Track Starr’s “So Saucy Remix” in 2020. View this post on Instagram

A post shared by QUEEN OF DANCEHALL (@spiceofficial)

These three are no strangers to collaborating, as they have worked on projects before. We see Shaggy and Sean Paul briefly rocking to the beat as well, both wearing shades inside, indicative of club attire. From the song itself, you can hear a quite monotonous tone from Shaggy at the beginning, with Spice chiming in with a rather similar flow. The lyrical cadence is reminiscent of a rhythmic chant and, with the bass sounding similar to African drums, it is the perfect combination for the song to be viewed in this way. The beat is infectious and really makes you want to dance along with them. The African influence on this track is undeniable. Spice recruits two of the biggest names in dancehall, Sean Paul and Shaggy, for her historic collaboration, “Go Down Deh.”
The dancehall diva shared a snippet of the upcoming music video on her IG. Spice has been touting her new collaboration with dancehall legends Sean Paul and Shaggy for the past several months, and now it’s finally here. We are not sure. We see Spice with her background dancers whining in sync to the rhythm of the song. Spice and Sean Paul have previously worked with Stylo G on “Dumpling Remix” in 2019. Share this:

Joyner Lucas & Lil Baby – Ramen & OJ Lyrics

tattoos
Still a youngin’ but feel like a OG
Can’t forget all this shit that they told me
Tired of niggas thinkin’ that they know me
You gon’ turn me back into the old me
You gon’ turn me back into a savage
I done did shit you couldn’t imagine
Leveled up and then bought me a mansion
I can never go back to a has-been
[Chorus: Joyner Lucas]
I can never go back to the old days, no way
Back to walkin’ to work on a cold day
Back to thinkin’ my ex was my soulmate
Back to tellin’ myself, “We’ll be okay”
We’ll be okay, was survivin’ off ramen and OJ
Shorty payin’ the bills, I had no safe
I can never go back to the bottom, to the bottom
Sellin’ drugs, never know when the cops come
Niggas jealous, they wanted to rob us
I was just tryna get me some dollars, couple dollars
Turn my pennies from hundreds to commas
I’m so happy them days are behind us
[Verse 2: Lil Baby]
I ride by different spots, I get flashbacks
I can’t get on your level, I’m past that
Watch me run that shit up, I can’t go back to nothin’, tryna get to the top of the world
My nigga went crazy, walked on his corner and seen someone fuckin’ his girl
Fuck all that spinnin’ block, that’s that lil’ boy, shit, we catch him, we rockin’ his world
I let everybody have their fun with me
Never had a woman say she done with me
I was workin’ out on the company
I keep money coming in constantly
My lil’ brodie and them be having Runtz for cheap
Tryna get it, I been on the run for weeks
I bet none of you young niggas can come for me
Both of my kids got it honestly
I’m the real deal, all the way, I don’t half-step
Gotta do better than last year, that’s my motto
Put a switch on the blick, fully auto
Put them thangs on the pain like I’m Rylo
Proud to say that I finally changed up
Why the fuck they keep bringin’ my name up? [Intro: Joyner Lucas]
I got some needs, I need the money like I need to breathe
I need the hunnids, a lotta
I tell that lil’ bitch I’m out of her league, out of her league
Yeah, Joyner
Joyner, Joyner, Joyner
[Verse 1: Joyner Lucas]
I got some needs, I need the money like I need to breathe
I needs some hunnids, and I need to scheme
I need the W by any means, yada-da
Yada I mean, tell that lil’ bitch that I’m outta her league
Enough is enough, and I think I’m allergic to suckers
You niggas keep makin’ me sneeze
Did them off of blood and I’m makin’ them bleed
You try to run and I’m breakin’ your knees
I made ’em fall like I’m rakin’ the leaves
You know I ball like I play for the league
I mean what I say and I say what I mean
I ain’t no joke, we ain’t makin’ no memes
If I pull up on ’em, I’m makin’ a scene
Bo-bo-bo, then I’m makin’ them scream
Straight from the bricks, I need a lick
I dreamed about it since I was a jit
Nigga, I’m lit, I cannot miss
Came from the bottom and got me a check
Bitch, I’m a threat, I gotta flex
You want the crown but don’t know what it takes
I am build different, I’m not what you think
I cannot lose, I go out with a bang
I hope you never say my name in vain
I’m with whatever, just not for no games
I know they say I changed, I cannot say the same
I bet they want me shackled and locked in the chains
I guess that’s just what happens with bad news
On my momma, I never been fragile
I’m the wrong one to fuck with, it’s taboo
Turn you niggas to R.I.P. ‘Cause I’m poppin’
[Chorus: Lil Baby & Joyner Lucas]
I can never go back to the old days, no way
Back to walkin’ to work on a cold day
Back to thinkin’ my ex was my soulmate
Back to tellin’ myself, “We’ll be okay”
We’ll be okay, was survivin’ off of ramen and OJ
I was payin’ the bills, I had no safe
I can never go back to the bottom, to the bottom
Sellin’ drugs, never know when the cops come
Niggas jealous, they wanted to rob us
I was just tryna get me some dollars, couple dollars
Turn my pennies from hundreds to commas
I’m so happy them days are behind us
[Outro: Joyner Lucas]
I’m so happy them days are behind me
I’m so happy the paper done found me
I done keep some good niggas around me
I got rid of them niggas who doubt me
Keepin’ good energy and I’m prayed up
Tunnel vision, they never can phase us
Once you cross me, ain’t nothin’ can save you
Pull that thing out the, it’s dangerous
Bitch, I’m dangerous

Lord Huron – I Lied Lyrics

[Verse 1: Lord Huron]
I swore that I’d become a better man for you and I tried
I tried to change my ways and walk the line you follow
I bore a flame that burned a thousand suns for you but it died
I told you I could never love somebody else but I lied
[Chorus: Lord Huron]
Mm-mm, mm-mm, I lied
Mm-mm, mm-mm, I lied
[Instrumental Break]
[Verse 2: Lord Huron]
I told you I’d be coming back again for you but I’m not
I’m going way out where the world will never find me
I made a claim that I would dance until we’re bones with my bride
I told you I would never leave you all alone but I lied
[Break: Allison Ponthier]
Ooh-ooh, ooh, ooh-ooh, ooh
Ooh-ooh, ooh, ooh-ooh, ooh
Ooh-ooh, ooh, ooh-ooh, ooh
[Verse 3: Allison Ponthier, with Lord Huron]
I read your letter in the morning by the lake and I cried
They were tears of joy, my chains are finally broken
I made a vow to stand beside you ’til the day that I die
Told you I could never live without your love but I lied
[Chorus: Lord Huron & Allison Ponthier]
Mm-mm, mm-mm, I lied
Mm-mm, mm-mm, I lied
Mm-mm, mm-mm, I lied
Mm-mm, mm-mm, I lied
Mm-mm, mm-mm, I lied

[Intro]
Dun, dun, dun
NLE the Top Shotta got the bombs like Al-Qaeda
Damn E, this shit exclusive
Ayy, ayy
[Chorus]
Never send a threat on the internet just to prove a point
That dissin’, don’t get into that, we leavin’ that to the informants
Don’t inform me about who informing, that’s yo’ final warning
7.62’s sting like a Bumblebee, he start transforming
Send yo’ homies on the drill, but they ain’t never make it back
Shoot up the scat, we left it flat, he died on the impact
My shooter, he a gym rat, but never mentioned who he cracked
And put you on the news, and I bet his family viewed that
[Verse 1]
Slide by myself before I call a nigga
My fingernails dirty ’cause I’m still a gravedigger
And we ain’t cappin’, don’t ask if we never pulled a trigger
And Goon steady putting Jimmy Glow up in his Swisher
Never been the one to save the day, I’m the one clutchin’ on the Drac’
Make sure he don’t get away, a opp the only thing I chase
In a full race the back of his neck, hit the ground to decay
Walk up to him, C Grape stood over, put one in his face
Murkin’ what my soul say
I’m slidin’ with this stowaway
My heater for a cold day, leave a nigga in disarray
Better stay up in the house like the nigga from That’s So Raven
Catch that nigga walkin’ out, we in the bushes, we been waiting
And put you on the news, and I bet his family viewed that
[Verse 2]
Ayy, smilin’ on my mugshot ’cause I know my bond money good
I ain’t missed a heartbeat, I’m out the next day, it’s understood
To the Broward County Police, lick my nuts and suck my wood
First day tray and nigga you start mugging, wish a nigga would
Doing donuts in the SRT, I crashed into a tree
Rolls truck the next week, money ain’t been shit to me
Ridin’ with a full clip, but the gas tank on E
Slidin’ like a cruise ship, wet you up like a jet ski
Livin’ to a hundred and three, that’s the OG Grape in me
Auntie wanna pray for me, better pray for my enemies
Life ain’t gave me lemons so I start clutchin’ the lemon squeeze
Had a AR F15, and two Glocks, .223’s

[Intro: DJ Khaled]
(Tay Keith, this too hard)
We The Best Music
(Tay Keith, fuck these niggas up)
Another one
DJ Khaled
[Verse 1: Lil Baby & Lil Durk]
Scratched a million off my checklist three years ago
Add two zeros to the one, I’m in a different mode
This my life, do what I want, I be with different hoes
You know the pick and roll, I picked her up and sent her home
I got rich off strong, we get ’em in and get ’em gone
You know Trappy just got out, I ain’t have to put him on
We the ones who got the numbers, who put the city on
It’s the middle of the summer, I got a hoodie on
My demon time ain’t nothin’ nice
I try not to wear nothin’ twice
I came up off of shootin’ dice, yeah
My lil’ brother ain’t livin’ right
My sis’ and ’em doin’ aight
My cuz and ’em still servin’ life, yeah
Seen a robber rob a deacon
I seen a preacher get caught for cheatin’
I’ll break the bank for one of my people
I said, “I’m the one,” they didn’t me believe me
I show ’em the facts, now they all need me
I’ma get cake as long as I’m breathin’
They makin’ it hard, this shit really easy, yeah (Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)
[Chorus: Lil Baby]
I’ma turn up on a hater every chance that I get
I want the biggest watch that they got, don’t care if that shit hurt my wrist
All these hoes fuck on us all, I wish I would claim that bitch
They get hard when they get guns, we got a hood full of sticks
Soon as they say we can’t come, you know we’ll run ’round that bitch
You can miss me with that shit, you know I live in the mix (Money, cars and clothes and hoes)
You know I live in the mix (Money, cars and clothes and hoes)
[Verse 2: Lil Baby, DJ Khaled & Lil Durk]
Yeah, she think I’m a regular rapper, I’m not
One person come tell me, we fuck up your block
Watch me run this shit to the tippity-top, yeah (Keep goin’)
Put my kids in Givenchy
She must think one plus one is three
I can’t support you personally
She don’t got a mortgage, moved in with her niece
These niggas be cappin’, them cars be leased
Youngest in charge, I speak for the streets
I was nodding off, they woke up a beast
Struggle what made me, we used to have water for dinner, we didn’t have nothin’ to eat
Soon as I get on his ass, they gon’ look at me better, like, “Damn, he was fuckin’ with me,” yeah (Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)

You can miss me with that shit, you know I live in the mix (Money, cars and clothes and hoes)
You know I live in the mix (Money, cars and clothes and hoes)
[Verse 3: Lil Durk]
I’m from the trenches
Niggas be tough on the ‘net, but really be there for attention
Bitches be talkin’ like they really rich
But really be beggin’ me under my pictures
I’ll give her forty, fifty thousand cash to start up a business
I’ll spend that shit at the dentist
I’d rather fuck her and pay up her rent for a year just to get out of her feelings
I’m in the Lambo’ truck in my hood, nobody gon’ tell me shit
Goin’ to Cali, I pick up my weed for sure, nobody gon’ mail me shit
Dice game, Craps and Cee-Lo, I need cash, don’t sell me shit
Baby got his hood on smash, yeah, you can tell they really rich
Drop the load, ain’t no room right now, I took her to the O
Then I pulled up on the Lamb’ ’cause she a fan of Boonie Moe
I got the city on lock, uh, fuckin’ up all the opps
I be around with three million dollars in jewelry, I’m standin’ on all the blocks
This the anthem, mmm-hmm
Droppin’ the six in the Fanta, mmm
Black Rolls truck with the all-white seats, remind me of sittin’ on Panda, mmm
I love my cousin, she was a dancer
I love my brother, he was a scammer
Sittin’ on my lap ’cause I’m pullin’ her tracks and I fuck from the back ’cause she callin’ me handsome (Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)
[Chorus: Lil Baby]
I’ma turn up on a hater every chance that I get
I want the biggest watch that they got, don’t care if that shit hurt my wrist
All these hoes fuck on us all, I wish I would claim that bitch

DJ Khaled – I CAN HAVE IT ALL Lyrics

When you young and you black but you stressed and you blessed
And you gotta wake up every single morning, do your best
And when you get your cake up niggas gon’ try you on the ‘net
I had to switch way up ’cause I can’t die by my respect
I got kids I gotta feed, I got a momma that can’t grieve
When it was slow and niggas left, I made my mind up, I can’t leave
Plus homie doing life, shit, I got guys that got free
Juveniles don’t get no life at seventeen, he was eighteen
They gave him life so we gotta pray and believe
And try to squeeze on every resource that we know that he need
We must achieve
And once we see him we gon’ go and succeed
The heart of Creed, I’m from Philly, nigga
[Bridge: H.E.R. & Meek Mill]
From the balcony I see the fountain blue (Know where I’m from)
Over the bridge is muddy waters, ’til your dreams come true
But I can have it all, I can have it (I can have it)
I can have it all, I can have it (I can have it)
From the balcony I see the fountain blue
Over the bridge is muddy waters, ’til your dreams come true
But I can have it all, I can have it (I can have it)
I can have it all, I can have it (I can have it)
[Verse 3: H.E.R.]
Who knew it would be worth all of the losses? [Intro: Bryson Tiller]
Yeah, I know you’re tired, baby
Yeah, I know you’re so tired
Yeah, help has arrived, baby
Look up in the sky
Know you wanna fly (Know you fly)
Know you’re trying your hardest to get by
Yeah, I could see it in your eyes
I could see it in (I could see it in)

DJ Khaled
Yeah
[Verse 1: H.E.R. You got a lot of money”
But I can’t get this shit out my heart that took my father from me
Shit, do you know the feeling of success? & DJ Khaled]
Knew I was special from a young age (Come on)
Knew I would take some shit to my grave
Hope that the problems that I became to some niggas that I snaked
Don’t catch up to me someday
But karma my bitch and she working for me (What else?)
One time for the niggas who still adore me (What else?)
‘Cause it’s some broads out here fucking for forty
And I’m just tryna make somebody son fall in love before forty
I been on some wild shit (Wild shit)
Coming out the bank with a mortgage deposit (Deposit)
Made myself a promise I’ma win
(I’ma win)
Never again, broke up, broken hearted
And I’m staring at the fountain blue from the balcony
Running a mile or if I was tryna chase a dream
[Chorus: H.E.R.]
‘Cause I can have it all, I can have it (I can have it)
I can have it all, I can have it (I can have it)
Ain’t got no hate in my blood or no jealousy
Know it’s somebody, it’s somebody out there just for me
And I can have it all, I can have it (I can have it)
I can have it all, I can have it (I can have it)
[Post-Chorus: H.E.R.]
I could feel it in the air (The air)
[Verse 2: Meek Mill]
Yeah, riding with my billionaire homie, I got the Glock up on me
He always asking me why I got it? Hopped in the Bentley, ain’t even worry what the cost is
I know you out there tryna sell your soul for profit
We gotta count all of the blessings ’cause it’s God sent
Standing on the edge right now
I said I’m standing on the edge right now
And if the walls come down
If it all come down
If it come down
[Chorus: H.E.R.]
Staring at the fountain blue from the balcony

DJ Khaled – I DID IT Lyrics

Countin’ my money ain’t makin’ you rich
Talkin’ down on me don’t make you the shit
How my name in your mouth more than your spit? I really encourage my haters to talk
Throwin’ that shade only keepin’ me lit, huh
[Chorus: Post Malone & DJ Khaled]
Stayed down ’til I came up
I did it, I did it, I did it
Ten toes and never changed up
I did it, I did it, I did it
Got my hands in the air right now ’cause I always wanna be here right now
I did it, I did it, I did it, I did it, I did it, I did it, I did it
[Verse 2: Lil Baby]
Hey, goddammit, I get it
They don’t like to see when we win, but I did it
Hey, I stand by my city
Chopsticks sound like a guitar in the air
Stop and take a picture when I’m jumpin’ off a Lear
I done ran it up, it only took a couple years
The money be callin’, if it wasn’t for my lil’ partner
Then the bullshit they be talkin’ ’bout, I wouldn’t even hear
New sports car go, “Vroom,” switch gears

[Verse 1: Megan Thee Stallion]
Take it off then bend over, let me see it
If you’re lookin’ for a trill type, bitch, let me be it
I’m from the South, never had a handout
‘Fore I let my people starve, I’ll take it out your mouth
These bitches so quick to switch up
I’m from the Lone Star, I don’t need to clique up
It ain’t directed, so it ain’t respected
Stop droppin’ clues ’cause I ain’t no detective, bitch
I’m tryna win, don’t care how I do it, just know that I did it
Why you so worried ’bout what I be doin’? Goddamn, come here
Thought of goin’ vegan, then again, I’m like, “For what?”
I got ten karats each in my left and right ears
’21 Tesla, I don’t even gotta steer
My climax ain’t even nowhere near it
I stayed down and I stayed down
And I came up, I had faith in my spirit
[Chorus: Post Malone, DJ Khaled, Post Malone & DJ Khaled & DaBaby]
Stayed down ’til I came up
I did it, I did it, I did it

[Verse 3: DaBaby & DJ Khaled]
Diamonds on my neck
New contract, I ain’t signin’ that ho yet
Private plane flyin’, somewhere smilin’ on the jet
I drop hit after hit, now that’s the domino effect
These niggas out here goin’ flat
Ain’t no stoppin’ it, pretty blue paper all day like Monopoly
Brand new Pradas, I’m proud of me
Actually came from the bottom
Ain’t no need in even askin’ me, ain’t even seen the half of me
And ain’t no passin’, that’s a no-go
Start them killer player niggas out here throwin’ low blows
I done got good with the shit
I tell the paparazzi, “Get my angle,” every time they take my photo (Another one)
[Chorus: Post Malone, DJ Khaled & Post Malone & DJ Khaled]
Stayed down ’til I came up

Drink heavily, health is wealth (Health is wealth)

Miss me with the hate, helped so many people get cake
Whips and cream for the crew, no other weed, that thing faster
The time I spit this, I started some other business (Some other business)
Came from the pitchin (Came from the pitchin)’, ’caine in the kitchen
Dangerous missions, wastin’ your time if you want my forgiveness (Forgiveness)

Did a couple things, they left me no choice
I done hit some licks that my mama won’t be proud of
Said we gon’ be rich, give her something she can smile for
The devil on the block and he lurking
Tryna hit me up with a dozen
But when I look around, shit ain’t worth it
That’s for certain, yeah

I’m thankful (Thankful), I’m thankful (Thankful)
[Refrain: Jeremih & Choir]
But I’m still out here making moves, ooh
I’ma do what I got to, I’ma do what I got to
Too many niggas gone too soon (I’m gonna do what I got to)
Ain’t tryna lay up in a box two feet wide, six deep
You won’t catch no RIP’s off me
I’ma do what I got to (I’ma do what I got to)
I’m gonna do what I got to (I’ma do what I got to)
Somebody’s been praying for me, for me
I could’ve been six feet deep
When I get down on my knees, I’m thankful, I’m thankful, I’m thankful
[Chorus: Jeremih & Choir]
I’ma blow this bag for everybody who counted me out (Everybody who counted me out)
And I still got love for all my dawgs who holding me down (Holding me down)
Head above ground for my niggas and my dons
I’m thankful (I’m thankful), I’m thankful (I’m thankful), I’m thankful (I’m thankful)
[Verse 2: Lil Wayne]
Sit down, be thankful
Big smile although it’s painful
I look up and see clouds, weed angels
Seen white chalk make street angels
You’re welcome, look down, feet dangles
Be proud, be shameless
Yeah, be now, be ancient
Yeah, it been my turn, let me cut off these blinkers
I cut off these strangers and ifs ands and buts of the strangers
I never relinquish, I’m thanking Franklin as an acquaintance
Destiny danger, I done seen from every angle
From my neck to my ankle, the spots on this leopard ain’t changing
Nigga, that’s for the wankstas, 50 told me that, I say thank you
I been got the bag, I done turned that to the blanket
I been out of hand so I don’t wanna dap ‘less you banging
I’m being quiet, man, just waiting for these rappers to thank me, de nada
[Chorus: Jeremih & Choir]
And I know that somebody been praying for me
Head above ground and I could’ve been six feet deep
Out on these streets, when I get down on my knees
I’m thankful (Thankful), I’m thankful (Thankful)
I’ma blow this bag for everybody who counted me out
And I still got love for all my dawgs who holding me down
Head above ground for my niggas and my dons
I’m thankful (Thankful), I’m thankful (Thankful)
[Refrain: Jeremih & Choir]
But I’m still out here making moves, ooh
I’ma do what I got to, I’ma do what I got to
Too many niggas gone too soon (I’m gonna do what I got to)
Ain’t tryna lay up in a box two feet wide, six deep
You won’t catch no RIP’s off me
I’ma do what I got to (I’ma do what I got to)
I’m gonna do what I got to (I’ma do what I got to)
[Outro: Lil Wayne]
Sit down, be thankful
Big smile although it’s painful
I look up and see clouds, weed angels
Seen white chalk make street angels
You’re welcome, look down, feet dangles
Be proud, be shameless
Yeah, be now, be ancient (Be ancient)
Yeah (Yeah, yeah)
