“We are not discussing at this point whether it was blunt force trauma, a shooting, a stabbing or anything like that.”A nearby business owner told Eyewitness News his surveillance video, which was provided to police, showed a vehicle pulling up at about midnight and a body was left behind as the vehicle drove off.”It (the video) was a little dark, but it looked like a (Chevrolet) Suburban-type vehicle and it had no license plates on it,” businessman Raymond Berry told Eyewitness News. (KABC) — A homicide investigation was sparked after a man’s body was found in a commercial area of Anaheim on Monday.Anaheim police said they were called to the 1600 block of South Sinclair Street at about 6:30 a.m. When officers responded to the scene, they said the body of a man in his 20s or 30s was found with obvious signs of trauma near a dumpster.”There were obvious signs of trauma that led us to be believe it was a homicide,” Sgt. “It showed him (the suspect) getting out and starting to do it, it (the video) kicked off when he was removing the body and then it went back on when he was pulling away,” Berry continued.Detectives would not confirm the account from Berry, but confirmed they received surveillance video and the scene was being investigated as a homicide.The man’s identity has not been released by officials.If you have any information that could aid detectives in their investigation you were urged to call Orange County Crime Stoppers at 1-855-847-6227.
