U2 bringing ‘The Joshua Tree’ tour to Rose Bowl in May

As widely speculated, mega rock band U2 will officially bring its The Joshua Tree 2017 tour to the Rose Bowl (1001 Rose Bowl Drive) in Pasadena on May 20 with special guests the Lumineers. The limited run of stadium dates will mark the 30th anniversary of the Irish rock band’s highly successful fifth album which spawned hits such as “With or Without You,” “Where the Streets Have No Name” and “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For.” U2’s stadium jaunt follows its highly technical iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE arena tour in 2015 in support of its surprise-drop 13th studio album, “Songs of Innocence.” The Joshua Tree Tour kicks off on May 12 in Vancouver and then runs across the U.S., including U2’s first-ever U.S. headlining appearance at a festival as the group is confirmed for the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in Tennessee this summer.
